This year, the Running Man cast got together for an online fanmeeting! Streamed on Tiktok, only six members of the cast were present as Yoo Jaesuk couldn’t go due to scheduling conflicts, but he sent in a video message for the fans. Here are some of the highlights of the show!

The fanmeeting began with a special performance from the cast as they performed their rendition of BTOB’s “Missing You.” Following the opening song number, they proceeded with introductions and read comments from fans who were watching the event, with fans complimenting Sechan’s rap in the song.
They also answered some questions from the fans: Somin was asked what kind of drama would she want to be in and she said she’d want to be in an action drama with Jong Kook. Jihyo was also asked what the show is to her and she said “family.” Seokjin was asked if he misses the show’s classic nametag ripping games as well.

Formally kicking off the festivities, the cast played the first game: Screaming in Silence. The group divided themselves into two: Seokjin and Jihyo, Somin and Jong Kook, and Sechan and Haha. In the game, the number of questions they get right would determine how many gifts would be given to lucky fans.
Seokjin and Jihyo were the first team to play with the category “Korean Food.” Somin and Jong Kook got all the questions right when it was their turn with the category “Korean TV Programs!” Haha and Sechan went last with the category “Hallyu Stars.”
The second game was “Guess the Kpop Dance.” Somin danced to Blackpink’s “Ddu Ddu Ddu,” while Jong Kook danced to Oh My Girl’s “Non Stop.” Seokjin danced to Aespa’s “Next Level” while Jihyo danced to EXO’s “Love Shot.” Sechan danced to Sunmi’s “24 Hours” while Haha danced to “Idol” by BTS.
The third game was called “Goods Relay” where they are given six items to decorate: a shirt, a pair of shoes, a pair of socks, a tote bag, and a piece of paper that would decorate a tumbler. They were given one minute to decorate the item they have before passing them on to the next cast member. All the items would be given to two lucky fans!

The second half of the event was made up of solo performances and unit performances! Sechan started off the solo performances with his cover of Zico’s “Artist” followed by Somin who performed 2PM’s “My House.” Seokjin covered Taeyeon’s “If” while Jihyo performed “Rollin'” by Brave Girls.
Jong Kook and Haha performed their own songs: Jong Kook with his winter single “Forget-Me-Not” and Haha with his songs “Hangover,” “Rosa” and “Dang diggi bang.” As a present for the international fans that were watching, however, Jong Kook also sang “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars.
Somin, Seokjin, and Sechan performed “Confession of Your Love” (by Soran, Somin, and Yoo Jaesuk) followed by a performance of Somin and Sechan of “When We Disco” by JYP and Sunmi. Jong Kook and Haha performed “Raise Your Voice” by F-Killer (Haha, Jong Kook, and Gummy). Seokjin showed off his rapping skills in his performance with Jihyo of “Don’t” by Hwasa and Loco.
Sechan, Jihyo, and Seokjin performed Ssak3’s (Lee Hyori, Rain, Yoo Jaesuk) “Beach Again” while Haha and Jong Kook also performed another Ssak3 song, “In Summer.”

As the fanmeeting came to an end, the cast members gathered again to read some of the comments and said their final messages. They thanked all the fans who came to watch and hoped to see everyone in person soon when the pandemic is over. The cast was also moved by a surprise VCR prepared by the fans, with messages telling them how much they and the show mean to them.
The cast ended the special fanmeeting by singing Jong Kook’s iconic single “Loveable.”
