On July 27, Kakao M, the production team for the remake, confirmed Kim Yohan, Seo Joo Yeon, and Yeo Hoe Hyun will be the leading trio for A Love So Beautiful. The upcoming digital drama is a Korean remake of Chinese drama.

The original Chinese film gained popularity with 3.7B views when it was aired in 2017. The drama also released on Netflix in Korea, which created a buzz. It is a digital drama and will have 24 episodes, about 20 minutes each. The Korean remake is set to release by the end of this year. It will be through a new video platform based on Kakao Talk, which Kakao M is preparing.
