Media Partnership Guidelines

We are K-LINE MANILA, a Philippine-based media outlet focused on the Korean entertainment industry’s events and activities. We cater to fans of anything Hallyu ranging from Korean dramas to the country’s music scene.

Our mission is to deliver legitimate and researched information to fans through news, features, and updates about the latest happenings inside the Korean entertainment landscape.

These new guidelines will be in effect starting April 25, 2020

With the growing opportunities for Korean entertainment industry through partnerships, we have established a new guidelines and rules between the partner and K-Line News.

Fanclub Initiated Event Guidelines

Example: cup sleeve events, doll parties, member-specific fan gatherings, mini-exhibits, group anniversary, festivals

K-Line News Commitments

  • All announcements made by FANCLUB about the EVENT to be reposted, retweeted or shared via all social media accounts of K-Line News such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
  • A maximum of five (5) posts on our social networking sites.
  • One (1) online feature article, to be published on our website and to be posted on all of our social networking sites.
  • Countdown posts on all of our social networking sites prior to the event proper.
  • Inclusion of the event In our “Events Calendar”.
  • Live coverage of the event. (If K-Line News representatives are invited/presented)
  • One (1) post-event online feature/coverage to be published on our official website & social networking sites. (If K-Line News representatives are invited/presented)

 

Fanclub Commitments

  • Provision of at least (2) media passes for K- Line Manila representatives. (1) for the contributing writer and (1) camera pass for photographer.
  • Logo inclusion in all publicity materials.
  • Acknowledgement of K-Line News before, during, and after the event.
  • Provision of press release of the event.
  • Other promotional materials for the event
  • Option for K-Line News to play promotional video at the event.

Organizer/Promoter Initiated Event Guidelines

Example: press conference, fan meeting, concert, live tour etc…

K-Line News Commitments

  • All announcements made by PROMOTER about the EVENT to be reposted, retweeted or shared via all social media accounts of K-Line News such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
  • Two (2) Self-curated posts on all of our social media sites every week.
  • Two (2) online feature article, to be published on our website and to be posted on all of our social media sites.
  • Countdown posts on all of our social media sites prior to the official ticketing day and event proper.
  • Inclusion of the event In our “Events Calendar”.
  • Live updates on Facebook page / Twitter account / Instagram stories.
  • Live coverage of the event (if allowed/applicable).
  • One (1) post-event online feature/coverage to be published on our official website & social networking sites.

 

Organizer/Promoter Commitments

  • At least two (2) media passes for K- Line Manila representatives. (1) for the contributing writer and (1) camera pass for photographer.
  • Press release for the event
  • Other promotional materials for the event
  • Invitation to press conferences (if applicable/optional)

Additional Information

  • K-Line News will not use or distribute footage and photos captured during the event for purposes other than promoting the show.
  • K-Line News releases one (1) announcement article prior to the event as part of its commitment to industry updates. However, should the organizer or agency desire for a partnership and come to an agreement, the media partnership commitments will be followed to promote the event.
  • Photos and videos from the event coverage are rightfully owned by K-Line News and its designated writer/reporter/photographer. The organizers and/or the agency of the artist/s may 1) give a photo or video guideline before the event, or 2) request for other unreleased photos/videos to be shared on other platforms with watermarks, and with K-Line News team’s consent.
